your child’s story, their way.

brave sparks is a storytelling podcast created for and with neurodivergent kids — because we believe
“nothing about them, without them.” each episode is co-created in therapy, honouring every child as a brave storyteller. we just help carry the mic. 🎤

brave sparks brings the magic of the therapy room home.

each episode is shaped by your child’s voice, needs, and strengths to reflect the goals and values that matter most to your family.

it’s a personal, playful, portable therapy tool — because sometimes, it helps to hear things in different ways, at different times, so we can stand in front of old triggers in new ways.

let’s step a little deeper into the story…

we believe in the power of shared stories

at trust children, we believe stories have the power to build connection, spark imagination, and help kids — and their pets 🐾 — feel seen and supported.

stories are co-created with each child — designed to normalise experiences, make space for big feelings and find solutions using collaborative problem solving.

why brave sparks?

brave sparks gives voice to the many ways therapeutic strategies and concepts can be woven into children’s stories — creating accessible, playful therapy ready whenever your child needs it.

co-created with the neurodivergent children we support — their voices lighting the way 🔦

what makes brave sparks different?

brave sparks was created to extend therapy beyond the room, giving kids something they can carry with them. every story becomes a companion they can return to — playful, nurturing, and designed to gently reinforce their own solutions.

it’s therapy that keeps on giving — reflective, reusable, and with a narrative that is true for your child.

because practising brave takes time — and sometimes, we all need a reminder of what we’re capable of.

what if therapy felt woven into your days, playful and connecting?

a note for parents and caregivers

we know that, so often, parents and caregivers are left wondering what actually happens inside the therapy room. but you shouldn’t be on the outside — you are the expert when it comes to your child, and your connection to their story is what carries our therapeutic approaches into everyday life.

we also know that can feel like a lot — another thing added to an already full plate. but what if it didn’t have to be like that?

brave sparks is designed to meet your family where you are. these stories gently weave therapeutic ideas into moments that feel playful, curious, and connecting — not like more ‘work’.

they’re here when you need them — ready to revisit, rehearse, and share together.

if you’re ready for therapy that flows into family life, reach out to the trust children team. we’d love to walk alongside you.

how does it work?

✨ stories are co-created with each child (and sometimes their favourite pets 🐾) as part of a therapy block — weaving their voice, ideas, and experiences into their own brave sparks episode.

✨ therapeutic strategies are personalised, strengths-based, and neurodiversity-affirming — carefully expressed to reflect each child’s unique journey.

✨ episodes provide a gentle closure to each therapy block so children can revisit strategies whenever they need a boost, a reminder, or a moment of connection.

✨ parent or guardian consent is always required, and privacy is carefully protected — stories are de-identified unless specific details are included with consent.

and now, meet some of the brave sparks lighting the way…
